Eric Sabourin's path to real estate began with an unexpected twist. Originally from Pennsylvania, Eric started college as a football player, channeling the same competitive spirit he had shown in high school sports. But his plans shifted dramatically when a knee injury during his first game ended his football career. A visit to North Carolina to see his aunt introduced him to UNC-Wilmington, and he was immediately drawn to its vibrant atmosphere. In 2005, Eric graduated from the Cameron School of Business with a degree in Marketing, where a finance class focused on real estate first sparked his interest in the industry. His professor's connections led to an internship with a commercial real estate firm, laying the groundwork for his future success.

Eric’s passion for new experiences took him abroad during and after his college years. A trip to Costa Rica ignited his love for cultural exploration, leading him to travel through Ireland, France, Spain, Switzerland, and Italy, where he reconnected with extended family. These travels taught him the value of finding common ground and building relationships, even across language barriers. He continued his journey through the South Pacific, visiting Hong Kong, Thailand, New Zealand, and Fiji before returning home to focus on his career.

In 2008, Eric earned his real estate license and joined a leading agency in early 2009, where he gained hands-on experience and honed his skills. Reflecting on his career, Eric admits he never envisioned leading a team. "I always thought I’d work independently. The idea of leading a team seemed intimidating, but I realized it was the best way to truly serve our clients." His efforts have driven remarkable success, with over $287 million in career sales volume, including $37.3 million in 2023 alone. Eric was named New Homes Sales Agent of the Year in 2021, and his team was recognized as Sales Team of the Year in both 2021 and 2022, as well as Runner-Up in 2023.

Today, Eric continues to bring his drive, dedication, and worldly perspective to the clients and team he proudly serves.
