My name is Susan Tyson Scott and I am a real estate broker in North Carolina. I specialize in working in the Southport/Oak Island and surrounding areas of Brunswick County. In 2002, after living 31 years in Greensboro, North Carolina, my husband and I decided to move full-time to the beautiful Town of Oak Island. We were not new to Oak Island; we had been vacationing here since 1978. In fact, our second home on the island was a great retreat for us. We have two grown sons, Daniel and Benjamin, a daughter-in-law, Jessica and two beautiful little granddaughters, Caroline and Hailey. Our children reside in Cary and Greensboro. I live with my husband, Loman and our Standard Poodle, Gidget, our cat, Maui and our cockatiel, Graybird. We are so fortunate to have such a wonderful family.

I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a BS in Business Administration. I earned my North Carolina Home Inspector's License and North Carolina Real Estate Broker's License in 2004. I continued my real estate education and in 2005 completed courses to earn my designation GRI, Graduate REALTOR® Institute. I completed the online e-PRO Technology Certification Program in March of 2006. I earned my ABR designation, Accredited Buyer Representative in April of 2009.
